Mundaring Markets Sunday

I did the Mundaring market yesterday. What a pity about the weather. Here we are half way through spring and I'm still hoping for a nice sunny day to bring everyone out of thier homes. As cold as I was though, nothing could bring me down from cloud nine. Off to buy the new lens today. I couldn't sleep properly, I'm having weird dreams about it.

I won the Kalamunda Photographic Competition

OK! so about an hour after my last post I received a phone call from the organizers of the photographic competition in Kalamunda saying I had won first place in the open section. Lots of OMG's and a few tears later I was off to Kalamunda for the awards ceremony. I can't believe it! I took one look at what few images that were already there yesterday, when I dropped off my prints, I just figured I didn't stand a chance in hell.I won a voucher from Camera Electronics. New lens here I come! Do I get a 35mm of a 50 mm lens?I do mostly landscapes but want to do more portrait and street photography? Decisions, decisions. LOL. I'm very happy. Thankyou to Gem Camera Club, Kalamunda Council and Camera Electronics.

Kalamunda and Mundaring markets

What a wonderfull day! It was quite busy at the market this month and I sold a few images. I hope the people that purchaced them enjoy!

My darling husband Todd had a great idea for a new stand this week and spent the last few days leading up to the market feverishly working to put it together. It looks a treat and displays my images beautifully.
Next Sunday is the Mundaring Market. I look forward to seeing you there.

U.W.A Calendar Launch

I'm off to the UWA calendar Launch in an hour or so. A few drinks and nibblies provided for us, a free calendar and a framed picture of my winning entry. We have a baby sitter for the night so hopefully we can go out for dinner afterwards. I'm very excited.
